With more users browsing on mobile devices, mobile-friendliness has become vital. So, how does mobile-friendliness affect a website’s rankings in search engine results?
Google now uses the mobile version of a website for indexing and ranking, meaning mobile-friendliness directly impacts search engine rankings. According to SEO experts, websites that aren’t mobile-friendly can face ranking drops, especially in mobile search results.
A mobile-friendly website ensures that users have a seamless experience on smartphones and tablets. As per my understanding, Google prioritizes websites that provide a good user experience, which includes mobile responsiveness.
With the increase in mobile users, optimizing for mobile devices helps you capture a larger share of mobile traffic, which can lead to improved rankings and more engagement.
In my view, businesses must focus on making their websites mobile-friendly to stay competitive in today’s SEO landscape.
