Voice searches often involve local intent, such as finding nearby businesses. How does this affect local SEO, and what strategies can businesses use to leverage it?
Voice searches are commonly used to find local businesses, like “Where is the nearest gas station?” As per my understanding, optimizing for local SEO, like maintaining an updated Google My Business profile, is crucial for appearing in voice search results.
Most voice searches are done on mobile devices, so it’s important to have a mobile-friendly website. According to SEO experts, businesses should ensure that their websites load quickly, are easy to navigate, and provide accurate location information.
As per my research, businesses should target location-based long-tail keywords to ensure they rank for queries like “best bakery in [city name].”
In my view, leveraging local SEO and optimizing for mobile is key to capitalizing on the growth of voice search and attracting nearby customers.
