Islamabad SEO Strategy is a term used to describe a tailored SEO approach for optimizing affiliate blogs. It’s designed to help websites rank higher on Google by focusing on review and guide articles. The strategy follows a specific SEO recipe that ensures the blog’s structure and content are aligned for better performance in search results.

After the Google Core update, affiliate websites now function differently, requiring a shift in strategy. They are more aligned with eCommerce website structures, which means organizing content and site architecture in a way that mimics eCommerce principles, such as clear categorization, product-style pages, and strong internal linking.

A unique feature of this strategy is its reverse silo structure. This involves starting with highly specific, valuable content, like detailed reviews or guides, and then linking it to broader topics. Along with this, creating strong content assets helps drive more traffic and engagement.

The goal of Islamabad SEO Strategy is to boost rankings, increase visibility, and drive more organic traffic to affiliate blogs by adapting to the latest trends and search engine requirements.

This strategy will cover the Amazon Affiliate blog to rank reviews based articles along with informational articles with this pre-tested SEO recipe.

I have practices this strategy by experimenting on several affiliate blogs (personal and clients too).

Any new blog/website needs search engine trust to get organic traffic to their targeted pages/posts. To build this trust, you need to create content that satisfies user intent at a fundamental level.

This structure will guide you on how to get started.

This strategy also includes two phases, like on-site SEO, which is based on website structure and Technical SEO, and Off-Site SEO guidelines.

On-Site SEO Structure Guideline

When we build a blog, the layout is well known to have recent posts. Let me go through step by step to clear the understandings.

Homepage: The landing page either has categories or a list of recent articles (sometime both), and some bloggers add content related to their core topics (as a pillar content) to interlink reviews and informational articles to pass through the link juice from the homepage.

Category page: This page has a list of reviews, guides and informational articles.

Resource Pages: These resource pages may include, about, contact, privacy, terms, discloser, and DMCA.

Articles: Articles are the primary resource on the affiliate website. The core purpose of an affiliate blog is to share a personal experience of any amazon product reviews to the public. These reviews are based on the necessary information of the product; it’s pros, cons, and comparison table of relevant products.

For better user experience, you also need to guide them by an informational article that includes a step by step guide to using any kind of product.

In this Islamabad SEO Strategy, I am explaining which type of article needs to target for backlink and what kind of backlinks it will require to rank it.

Islamabad SEO Strategy

Interlinking between article goes reversely.

According to the above infographic, You need to create a “Content Asset” that attracts backlink naturally. Based on the core categories you choose for your blog, it maybe more than one content assets for each.

We will also build backlinks to this content asset as mentioned above but,

Let me explain the Content Asset first.

“The Content Asset is a resource where you explain a group of information based on micro topics with content; the content must include almost every possible element to explain the topic widely. The content article length should be more than ~3000 words.”

Example: Gaming Laptops, Students Laptops, Professional Laptops, Live Streaming Laptops

By this example, you need a content asset for each topic, where you explain all subtopics as a summary.

First Step: The Linkable Asset/Content Asset should interlink to relevant review articles (you can also link relevant informational articles as well) with exact match anchor text.

Second Step: Other single topic informational articles will individually be linked to the targeted product reviews articles and even to a linkable asset; this will be called cross interlinking. Also, to the homepage if it makes sense, as explained in the above infographic.

Third Step: Reviews articles need to be interlinked to relevant reviews, informational, and event linkable assets wisely as many times as possible.

Fourth Step: The homepage already has products and categories. So, if you can put content at the homepage, then you can interlink to the related product reviews, categories, informational articles, or resource page if necessary.

Off-Page SEO Structure Guideline

If you are not newbie, everyone knows that Backlinks are considered as a vote.

If you can build a niche relevant backlinks profile, it will increase the trust in Google’s eye, and definitely, you have relevant votes to your website.

So you have chances to get ranked higher in Google SERP by getting votes for your website.

There are three primary problems when we talk about off-page SEO practice.

  • What kind of backlinks we need; to rank an eCommerce website, and how much?
  • Which pages do we need to target when creating backlinks?
  • The most critical question is how to create backlinks for your website?

Many experienced Affiliate bloggers suggest not to build backlinks for the affiliate website as your blog can rank without any backlink. But Ismail Blogger shared the benefits of guest posting for your blog may help to rank higher.

But I will answer these questions later upon my opinion.

What will be the anchor text strategy for a linkable asset?

You need to use the exact keyword anchor text when building guest posts backlink.

Because these types of backlinks are costly in terms of money and time investment efforts. For other kinds of backlinks like comment backlinks, web 2.0, forums backlinks you need to use LSI anchor text.

Islamabad SEO Strategy for Backlinks

First of all, we need niche relevant Guest Posts backlinks to Linkable assets to transfer the link juice and authority safely toward the products and category pages. The link juice can also be passed toward related blog articles to rank them on long-tail keywords.

You can acquire resource backlinks, niche relevant nofollow comment backlinks, web 2.0, and high value and clean forums backlinks to boost the authority of linkable assets.

The next step will be branding SEO.

To get protected and make a brand, you need to get backlinks at the homepage as a branding anchor text.

For this purpose, you need to create profiles, forums, and web 2.0 backlinks.

What will be the anchor text strategy for branding SEO?

Anchor text strategy will be the same as the Karachi SEO Strategy.
