Client Case Study

Picndrop

Courier and delivery platform, Lagos, Nigeria

The Client

Picndrop was a courier and delivery platform operating in Lagos, Nigeria, running a two-sided marketplace: customers booking deliveries on one side, drivers and partner businesses on the other, with a mobile app at the centre of it.

The Challenge

A marketplace has to be found by two completely different audiences with opposing intent. Someone who needs a parcel moved and someone looking for driver work share almost no vocabulary, yet both have to arrive on the right page of the same site.

Add an emerging-market logistics category, where search demand is growing faster than anyone is building content for it, and the opportunity was reach: getting in front of demand that existed but was barely being competed for.

What We Did

  • Full SEO audit, identifying the technical issues holding the site back
  • On-page optimisation across the customer, driver and partner routes so each audience had its own path in from search
  • Keyword research and content strategy built on real local intent rather than generic logistics terms
  • Local and technical SEO: site speed, indexing, and visibility for the Lagos service area
  • Performance tracking in Analytics and Search Console throughout

The Result

A logistics marketplace with a search presence built for both sides of it, and a content programme aimed at the questions its market was actually asking about delivery, courier services and moving around Lagos.

Archive project. A short consultancy engagement from January to May 2021. The business has since closed and picndrop.com is now a parked domain, so neither the site nor its analytics survive. The work is recorded as it stood at handover.
