ObservationsSchema and structured data
One switch in the SEO plugin had turned off structured data on the whole site
In short
A site with more than 450 articles had no structured data at all, because one plugin module was off.

What changed
Article, FAQPage, Organization and WebSite schema now appear on the live article pages and the homepage.

Structured data, or schema, is code that tells search engines what a page is: an article, its author, the business behind it.
Why it matters
Modules in SEO plugins are sometimes switched off to fix a conflict or speed something up, then never switched back on. Nothing breaks visibly, so nobody notices.
Here, more than 450 articles were missing information that helps search engines understand who wrote them and what they are.
How to check your own site
- Test any article with the Rich Results Test. If it says no items were found, look at your SEO plugin’s modules first.
- After switching a module on, clear the cache and test again.

What this changed in how I work
When a site has no schema at all, I check the plugin settings before writing any code. The cause is often one switch.
